New York Hardcore legends SICK OF IT ALL have begun writing songs for their new album which is tentatively scheduled for release this fall via Century Media Records. Once again the band will be teaming up with Tue Madsen for what they describe as a "straight up old school New York Hardcore record". In the meantime, while working on the follow up to their last studio album "Based On A True Story", SICK OF IT ALL announced that they will be playing Asbury Lanes in Asbury Park, NJ on March 28th and United Blood in Richmond, VA on March 29th. The band will also be returning to Europe in July and August for a festival run.- Details

February 14 will see the European release of “Speak In Storms,” the long awaited fourth studio album by Seabound, and potentially one of the first electronic highlights this year. We at Dependent were so impressed with the quality of the music and the artwork by Nico J. (Acretongue) that we decided to release not one, but two limited editions, each with different versions of the artwork. The first edition, simply titled “Limited”, will be a double digipack version with a bonus CD featuring the exclusive Seabound song “When She’s Hungry” plus album track remixes from Iris, Steril and Dead When I Found Her. - Details

More than 30 years after their first album ´Stahlwerksinfonie´, DIE KRUPPS are still a leading part of the German electronic music scene. Many bands tried to sound like them over the years, many tried to take their part but none got the power and the influence like they did. Last year they published their latest work ‘The Machinists Of Joy’ and there it was again. All the power, all the strength, all the joy were back. Iceland Airwaves has announced the first 17 artists slated to perform at Iceland Airwaves, taking place in Reykjavík November 5-9. Tickets are on sale now. The five day festival will close with the legendary Flaming Lips (US), performing on Sunday November 9.
