20 years of Hocico! 20 years of walking through fire! 20 years of raising voices to bark against all the shit in the world! 20 years of unique and fat Electro-sounds! “Los Días Caminando En El Fuego” celebrates a band that has single-handedly set new benchmark superlatives when it comes to Hard-Electro-sounds and that is a massive influence on an entire genre! A band that has spawned dozens or maybe even hundreds of epigones and that has put Mexico on the map for innovative and harsh electronic music. A band that has not bowed to anyone for 2 decades and that still sticks an angry fist in the face of global and human evils. It would certainly not be fitting to celebrate Erk Aicrag and Racso Agroyam who have created an output of such relevance for the global Electro scene with a mere, hastily plastered-together “best of”-compilation.

BLACK TUSK has a new video for the song "Truth Untold". The video was directed by Brad Kremer and produced by Tytan Creates. Check out the video here. Drummer James May commented on the new video: "Filming the new video was a really fun experience. The guys at TYTAN did a great job and we hope everyone enjoys it as much as we did making it. And a big thanks to all that was in or helped us out with it!” On July 19th the new EP Tend No Wounds from Savannah Metallers BLACK TUSK was released in Europe. It is available in CD, Vinyl and digital formats and can be ordered from the Relapse Records Store here. The EP can be purchased on iTunes here. …And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead recently completed a US tour, but just prior to this the band were hard at work on the ‘Tao Of The Dead Part 3’ EP which they are letting fans be a part of through PledgeMusic. They recently posted a video update from the studio, giving a little insight into the recording of the EP, and you can check that out here. The brand new 20-minute long composition is being produced by long-time collaborator Chris “Frenchie” Smith, and will see the light of day this fall. Fans can still get involved by pledging, with a whole host of exclusive items available including handwritten lyric sheets, signed CD’s & LP’s, damaged cymbals and even paintings by Conrad Keely. Not only that, but a portion of the money raised will go to the charity APLE (www.facebook.com/aple.cambodia) which helps protect childrens rights in Cambodia. “Super Schwarzes Mannheim” (Super Black Mannheim) is an event series taking place regularly in Mannheim, taking place at the first Saturday every month. There usually is the club night with dark music plus every now and then there are several live acts. And the date on 7th September offers quite a cool line-up.
