An old proverb says: „a rolling stone gathers no moss"! For next year the E-tropolis Festival will change the venue and therefore re-launch on 22nd February 2014 at the Turbinenhalle in Oberhausen.
"Darker – harder – louder" than the rest, the E-tropolis Festival, formerly carried out in Berlin, stands for excellent electro-sound since 2010. Its broad variety captures the dark facets of electronic music, masterfully condensed into a massive live-event. Of course we remain faithful to the custom of presenting 15 of the scene´s most popular acts along with an additional party-floor and 5 DJs! And the best thing about all this: a major part of the line-up shall be announced right now!

On 20. & 21. July, the ninth Amphi Festival starts off with 40 acts on three stages at the beautiful Tanzbrunnen Cologne. Headliners, legends, cultacts and newcomers, they all find their place in this year´s festival line up, ready to be celebrated, commemorated and discovered! With VNV NATION, FIELDS OF THE NEPHILIM, AGONOIZE, PETER HEPPNER, LETZTE INSTANZ, ROME, DR. MARK BENECKE and many more there is a piece for every taste from heavy electronic music to talks about forensic science!
While the live appearances of the bands are rocking on stage, we also record vivid activity around the signing-booth at the Café-hall this year. VNV NATION, ALIEN SEX FIEND, OOMPH!, DIE FORM, PETER HEPPNER, WESSELSKY and many more will be present there for pictures, signatures and smalltalk. Australian dark ethereal/medieval triphop duo Dandelion Wine have launched a Pozible campaign to crowdfund a tour of Europe this year. They are seeking funds for airfares to get them over to play at festivals and clubs in Germany, Switzerland, Estonia and Poland.
Rewards on offer for those who pledge their support include one-off custom vinyl, lessons in all manner of crazy instruments, private gigs (in your house or in their hotel room on tour)... even the opportunity to decide what colour singer Naomi Hendersonʼs hair will be on the tour. Yes, itʼs usually fire engine red but ever wondered how it would look purple, green, pink or blue?

The B-52s & Klimmstein
THE B-52s are an US-American rock band which was founded already in 1976 by five students. Who does not remember the song 'Love Shack' which comes from theirs commercially up to now most successful album, the in 1989 published 'Cosmic Thing'. Another success was the single '(Meet) The Flintstones' in 1994. The brand name of the band are the often shrill, melodic song as well as the funny texts. Many of their covers are typical for the New Wave.

Good news for friends of harder Rock music! Duisburg in Western Germany has a new festival, the WESTSIDE ROCKFEST, taking place on last Sunday in August (25th).
