For all friends of ELEGANT MACHINERY and Synth Pop, 2014 promises to be a good year. Although ELEGANT MACHINERY is resolved since 2011, this year the EM-voice, Robert Enforsen, will be for some gigs in the country. On 15th March 2014, he makes a stop in F-Haus, Jena, and will play the classic songs of ELEGANT MACHINERY.
The sound of the Swedish band was influenced in the early years by electronic bands like DEPECHE MODE, HUMAN LEAGUE and YAZOO. The debut album, ‘Degrades Faces’, is now more than 20 years old. After a split in 1998/1999, the band reunited in 2005 and released with ‘A soft exchange’ a new album in 2008. Two singles and several live performances later, the Swedish band split again in 2011.
Exactly there Robert Enforsen builds on. The scene wants to hear live songs like ‘Save me’ and ‘Process’. The evening promises therefore to be a firework of EM-Hits. The musical evening will be rounded by the organizers Synthetic Nights and Devote Jena with a DEPECHE MODE, Synth Pop and Electro after-show party.
