So after the last FILTER offering was literally a crushing experience, the guys around Richard Patrick are back with a new collection of tracks on 'The Sun Comes Out Tonight'. Already the band’s first release, ‘Short Bus’ in 1995, was anything else than ordinary with its edgy production, samples, fat bass lines and heavy guitar riffs, virtuoso programmed drum computers and last but not least the unmistakable voice of Richard Patrick as trademark.

Burn - Farewell show for the leaving band members

Münster based Rock band BURN already exists for 17 years now and in this long time, there were many ups and downs. During the last few year, there were surely more ups than downs. Times of being just a regional act are over and BURN are a welcomed guest on stages of the big scene festivals like Blackfield Festival or the Wave Gotik Treffen. Besides, BURN were also touring with such bands like UNHEILIG or SCHANDMAUL.

Since December, FIDDLER'S GREEN have worked on new stuff: All songs for the new album are composed now and the band already finished a pre-production and was going to enter the studio in the end of March. They recorded all songs live und did further work on them. For everybody who marked August 30th, the previously announced release date, in their calenders: You can delete this now and highlight July 26th instead!!! The band decided to antedate the release date of their new album WINNERS & BOOZERS! They already finished the new cover artwork and the recording session makes very good progress. So wouldn't it be nice to release the new album already at the weekend of their own SHAMROCK CASTLE Festival? Of course it would. Thus FIDDLER'S GREEN present you the new cover, as well as new tour dates and the information, that the new album will come as early as in the end of July.

Australian dark electro/folk duo Dandelion Wine ran a successful crowdfunding campaign through Pozible.com to raise money for their latest European Tour, which will include performances at Festival Mediaval (DE) and Bruchtal Festival (CH) along with headline shows in Estonia, Germany, Poland and the bandʼs first ever performance in Hong Kong. The campaign was so successful that they raised more than their initial target, with fans from four continents all contributing to the success. One of the rewards on offer for people who pledged money to the campaign was the opportunity to choose the colour of singer Naomi Hendersonʼs hair for the duration of the tour for a contribution of $AUD600. This reward was purchased by one of the organisers of Festival Mediaval who rather than choose the colour has instead opted to open the decision up to a vote on the festivalʼs forum and facebook page.
