These days, the first batch of bands for the Hurricane 2014 has been announced. As two headliners, promoters confirmed Canadian band ARCADE FIRE and Danish Metal-Punk band VOLBEAT. But there are many more bands just announced. Here's the current line-up so far:

A colossal live package will travel throughout Europe under the moniker ROCK REVELATION TOUR 2014 in March 2014 – trust us, this tour will leave no wishes unfulfilled in terms of traditional metal, heavy rock and retro attitude!
Swedish trio GRAND MAGUS will be the leaders of the tasty pack: exceptional vocalist JB and his boys were real doom merchants in the early days of their career with their self-titled debut (2001) and “Monument” (2003) – but on “Iron Will” (2008) and “Hammer Of The North” (2010) they decided to sell their souls to classic and unadulterated heavy metal that would even make Ronnie James Dio proud! In 2012 they thrilled press and fans alike with the pounding “The hunt” that entered the German album charts at # 42. GRAND MAGUS are currently in the studio to record their seventh album which will hit the shelves on January 31st, 2014!

2014 will have a noisy start. End of January Swedish Metallers ENFOCER are kicking off their European tour together with Canadian Classic Metallers SKULL FIST as well as Dutch Hard Rockers VANDERBUYST.
Already three years ago ENFORCER and SKULL FIST have been touring throughout Europe as a package. Together they are a grant for an evening full of timeless classic Heavy Metal. Their mixture between speed, steely guitar riffs as well as catchy melodies is making every fan of bands such as Iron Maiden, Riot or Exciter fond of them. For ENFORCER the tour not only means a perfect start into the new year.

Modern EBM legends XP8 and upstarts Hope Estheim have collaborated to release a single called “Heartless Disaster” The titled track is the focus of the single showcasing both bands talents. The single is currently out now is available as a pay what you like for it on Hope Estheim’s Bandcamp page. “Heartless Disaster” also features a remix by Hard Dance veterans Studio-X. The single can be downloaded here.

Italian Gothic Rock band THE SPIRITUAL BAT are set to follow-up the release of their highly acclaimed 2011 album ‘Cruel Machine’. The much anticipated launch is slated for Spring 2014 and has a working title of ‘Mosaic’. Core band members Dario Passamonti and Rosetta Garri are hard at work in the studio, alongside additional musicians and special guests, and songs already approaching completion include ‘Of Breath & Veils’, ‘Mosaic’ and ‘Death March’. After a well-received performance at this year’s WGT, the band are also lining up live dates for 2014.
