With huge energy and typical, legendary sound, SAXON will release their newest studio work 'Sacrifice' via UDR on 22nd February 2013. With a new way of production, SAXON recorded 10 on their strongest and most inspired songs for many years. This album is a dignified follower of the band's last album 'Call to Arms'. "Less tricks, more power", says front man and founding member Biff Byford. The album was recorded at the LS Studios in Yorkshire and produced by Byford together with Andy Sneap. Mox and enginerring was done by Jacky Lehmann. Besides new material, some of the released formats will contain newly recorded classics in unique versions, including an orchestral version of 'Crusader' or an acoustic version of 'Frozen Rainbow'.
