Fort Worth-based duo, PINKISH BLACK, has finished recording their upcoming album and Century Media debut, set tentatively for a Spring release. Self-produced by PINKISH BLACK's own Jon Teague and Daron Beck, this currently untitled full-length was recorded at The Echo Lab with Matt Barnhart handling engineer duties. Mastering will be done by James Plotkin. PINKISH BLACK is the continuation of THE GREAT TYRANT, a three-piece that released one LP following the passing of their bass player, Tommy Atkins. When Atkins died, Teague and Beck decided to change the band's name and remain a two-piece, yet still retain TGT's ground-breaking sound.

For their eighth studio album Covenant return to their one-time home port of Dependent, the label that twelve years ago released the landmark "United States Of Mind" album. With tracks like "Dead Stars", "One World One Sky" and of course the "Leiermann", this was the album that capitalised on the band's insider cult status and catapulted them to the upper echelons of the global electro scene. With a successful US tour and several special debut album anniversary gigs behind them, the band have since been at work on the songs for the new CD. At the time of writing the band is busy going through the massive amounts of demos they have produced since their last album "Modern Ruin".

After the success of "Polaris” and “Elysium” and the warm response to the CD/DVD/Blu-Ray “Live In Tampere” that witnessed one show of the band’s last world tour with friend and historical drummer Jörg Michael, Stratovarius are about to reinforce their position as one of the undisputed leading name of the prog-symphonic metal genre with an album that promise to be one of their best ever. You can sense it in the air that their new CD “Nemesis” is going to be a milestone in their career, judging by the fantastic reaction to the few bits and beats that – as it happens today – have leaked in the world of bits and beats of internet. ...to the extent that the band entered the studio again, only a few weeks after having completed the album, to record an additional song they had been working on for a while.

With pleasant anticipation we can announce another new release from Accession Records. After the release of their debut “Electric One” in March 2010, a tour with De/Vision, shows with Diorama, Assemblage 23, SONO and a number of festival appearances (for instance at the Moscow Synthetic Snow Festival and at the Wave Gotik Treffen in Leipzig), the alternative synth pop heroes present a spectacular follow-up, “Quest for love”, on 15th February 2013. The second album sounds darker, more resonant and mature than their debut. With producer Daniel Myer (Haujobb, Architect, DSTR), the songs on “Quest for Love” were lined out with great care for detail and perfection. The album contains a few surprises. For instance, “Primärreiz”, a sure-fire dance floor blast, comes with guest vocals by diorama mastermind Torben Wendt, adding even more power and suspense to the song and the whole album. Slave Republic will accompany Diorama on tour in March as Special Guest. Here are all dates:
