METALLICA will release a live 2-DVD, Blu-Ray and eVideo on 7th December 2012. As the band informs: About a month ago we mentioned that we have a live DVD in the works to complete the Death Magnetic experience and leaned on you to help us decide which songs would be on the main disc. As promised, we're back now with more details on that DVD, Quebec Magnetic (!?!) which will find its way to your local retailer, online store, Metallica.com and favorite digital provider on December 10, 2012.
This release is a first for us... yes boys and girls, the DVD and Blu-ray will be come out on our very own label in North America! There are still some "i's" being dotted and "t's crossed, so we can't give you a name or fancy logo just yet, but we're pretty excited that for the first time we get to hold all the reins on a release from start to finish. Since we now get to call all the shots, the double DVD and single disc Blu-ray will be available for a price we thought was very Metallica fan friendly - suggested retail will be $15.98 for either format.

UK Doomsters The Prophecy have revealed the cover art and track listing for their new album, entitled "Salvation", due on January 21 via Code666 records. The follow-up to 2009's "Into the Light" was produced and mixed by Greg Chandler (Esoteric) at Priory Studio and mastered by James Plotkin (Sunn O))), ISIS and Pelican). "Salvation" track listing: Salvation / Released / Reflections / In Silence / Redemption. frontman Matt Lawson commented on the cover artwork: "The album cover is a departure from the style of the last three albums, but when Code666 announced we could package the disc in glorious digi-pak with a 12 page booklet we couldnt help but go to town a little. The design fits the music perfectly and really captures the feel of the album. Sam at Dose Productions has done a fabulous job with the art and layout making this a product you'll really want to own."

Just in time for their first acoustic shows on 23rd and 24th November 2012 at the TheARTer Galerie in Berlin, EDEN WEINT IM GRAB will release their first unplugged album wearing the title “Nachtidyll – Ein akustisches Zwischenspiel”. Accompanied with chamber music, it is an acoustic journey through the EWIG history – poetic, melancholic, romantic, morbid and dark as the night. The album contains well-known older songs in new, reduced versions, sounding more pure and intimate than the originals. Furthermore, there are two band-new acoustic songs, ‘Kali Yuga’ and ‘Nächtliche Melancholie’, as well as a cover version of the DAS ICH classic ‘Kindgott’.
