The production of the bonus-DVD for the limited edition of “Ave Maria” has been delayed because the original cut of the video clip for “Ich Liebe Es” was deemed too hot for the German film rating authorities to give it an “18+” rating. This meant that the cutter had to revisit the material and do a more “tame” cut in an overnight guerrilla action to ensure the material to not be too offensive for German adult audiences. The new cut is now rated “18+”, but the band also had to redo the DVD master which made them fall behind slightly in their time schedule. They will try to keep the original release date of August 10th, but it might be that the “Ave Maria” limited edition will be delayed with some retailers. They are also working on finding channels to bring the uncensored version of the clip to you.
