Area4 Festival is taking place from 17th to 19th August in Lüdinghausen. So far, promoters were unsure if day tickets would be available. But now, there are good news! There will be day tickets available. You might buy them for 59 EUR incl. charges at www.area4.de or all other known ticket offices. Weekend tickets are available for 104 EUR inlcuding charges and 10 EUR waste deposit. This will be the day-split:

'All I Was' will show another, a harder side of Mark Tremonti. He is known as guitar player in ALTER BRIDGE and CREED. He's got a Grammy Award, sold 40 million albums and was voted three times as "Guitarist of the Year" by renowned magazine "Guitar World". "Total Guitar" magazine voted him as fourth-best Heavy Metal guitarist of all times. On his solo debut he'll be of course playing the guitar. But he also takes over the vocal part, supported by Eric Friedman on rhythm guitar and Garrett Whitlock on drums.

The autumn is the time for IN STRICT CONFIDENCE! Already the foretaste for the album, EP 'Morpheus' caused a stir (i.e. number 1 in German Alternative Charts) and raised expectations. But that won't be a problem for ISC. 'Utopia' impresses with great melodies, electronic power, touching athmosphere and a fabulous feeling for hits. The band already celebrated several chart entries. Songs like 'Zauberschloss' or 'Seven Lives' reached cult level. The upcoming album 'Utopia' is the band's 8th studio album. Besides a standard edition in jewel case, there will also be a "Collector's Edition" for the fanc including bonus CD with videos and more songs. The album release will be accompanied by several concerts and festival appearances.

In this week, promoters experienced quite a ticket run. Only about 600 tickets are left in the festival shop. Again for explanation and to keep you up to date regarding the ROCKHARZ:
2009 was the first year at the airport Ballenstedt. In that year we had to fight with less fans due to our move. The weather was bad, too, so the start into a new ROCKHARZ chapter was a little hard. But the beauty and goodness of our new area seemed to get around fast, as we caught up with visitors in 2010 and made history when ROCKHARZ 2011 was the best visited until then. In 2012, we have grown similarly and thus limited the amount of 3-day-tickets now. ROCKHARZ 2012 takes place from 12th to 14th of July.

Industrial-Metal Legends Static-X have begun announcing tour dates for Summer 2012. The band, fronted by Singer/Guitarist Wayne Static, will embark on dates beginning July 15at the Ink Life Tattoo Convention at the El Paso Coliseum.
Static commented on the upcoming tour saying "I had a great time over the past few years doing my Pighammer album and solo tours, but it's time to get Static-X back on the road. I can’t wait to tear it up with some old school Evil Disco!” The tour will be the first for the Metal titans since they announced a hiatus in 2009. Original bassist Tony Campos will not be joining the band on this tour but says “I’m proud of my years with Static X, and want to see the name of the band stay alive and well. I hope that all of our fans will continue to support both Wayne and I in our individual endeavors.”
