Artwork for new LP Deep Chills Expected to Run Afoul of Germany’s Adult Content Laws!
Since rocketing to the forefront of the techno/trance/industrial scene with the provocative debut smash "I Sit On Acid," Belgian dance music innovators Lords Of Acid have amassed a two-decade history of pushing buttons. Now, the Lords – known for their raunchy lyrics, grinding music and scintillating stage shows – are under intense pressure to alter the cover art for the new album Deep Chills in order to meet Germany’s ultra-rigid Adult Content laws. A risqué cartoon specially commissioned by the band as a tribute to the 1968 Big Brother and the Holding Company album Cheap Thrills, the Deep Chills (U.S. release is Apr. 20 via Metropolis Records) artwork has drawn the attention of censors.

Ottawa’s grindmanglers FUCK THE FACTS have confirmed an extensive European headlining tour in support of their latest LP, Die Miserable. The critically acclaimed album was released in October via Relapse Records and is available on CD/LP/Digital at this location. A complete listing of dates is available below. Guitarist Topon Dos commented on the upcoming run: "It's been a couple of years since we've last been to Europe, so we're excited not only to finally get back over there, but to also have the opportunity to play some countries like Finland and Hungary for the first time. Brighton's ARCHITECTS have just completed "Daybreaker", the follow-up album to their highly successful "The Here And Now". "Daybreaker" was produced by the band together with John Mitchell and Ben Humphreys at Outhouse Studios in Reading (Enter Shikari, You Me At Six, The Blackout, Funeral For A Friend, Exit Ten, Your Demise, Lower Than Atlantis, Kids In Glass Houses), the same team that already worked on "Hollow Crown". The stunning artwork was done by Paul Jackson (Tank.Axe.Love). "Daybreaker" will be out on the following dates:

In the wake of the release of their upcoming album, Urd , on March 26th in Europe and in North America, Norwegian avant-garde metallers BORKNAGAR have announced a new drummer for the band's line-up. The exceptionally talented youngster Baard Kolstad is now joining BORKNAGAR as their drummer, and he will perform his first show together with the band at this year's Inferno Festival during April 4th-7th in Oslo, Norway (www.infernofestival.net). Kolstad's extreme drum abilities have been proven through several YouTube clips, TV-appearances in Norway-- and just recently, he won the world championship in V- Drums in Los Angeles.
