Zwarte Cross (Black Motocross) Festival: Within Temptation, Textures, Kreator, The Deaf, Kaiser Chiefs, Beth Hart, Chef’s Special, Ill Nino and many more…
Over the years, the Zwarte Cross festival festival grew out to be the biggest festival in The Netherlands and the biggest motor cross festival in the World. In 2011, there were over 152,500 visitors at the festival. It is a mixture of motocross sports, music, camping and bizarre stunts. This year’s 16th edition of the festival will be held from 20th - 22nd July.

Marilyn Manson
In the nineties, Brian Warner aka Marilyn Manson grew out to be one of the most controversial shock rockers of his time. His Explicit lyrics poured over a mix of metal, glam rock and industrial sounds made him very popular with rebel teenagers and feared by worried parents and conservative politicians. His ninth studio album ‘Born Villain’ is to be released in February 2012 and will be followed by his “Hey Cruel world tour” in the US, Australia, Asia and Europe.

Guitarist/vocalist Helmuth Lehner, of extreme metal commando BELPHEGOR, has revealed that the group is working on fresh material for their tenth full-length album. The as of yet untitled record is tentatively slated for a late 2012 release, and will be the follow up to January 2011´s Blood Magick Necreomance. From this coming Saturday until next Wednesday, BELPHEGOR will start the first rehearsal session for the album, in Abtenau, Austria. The drum duties will again be handled by Mr. Marthyn, who did an outstanding job on Blood Magick Necreomance.

Finnish traditional folk metal pioneers KORPIKLAANI are currently in the studio to record the successor of last year’s successful seventh album “Ukon Wacka” (Finland: #9 ; Switzerland: #53 ; Germany: #73 ; Austria: #75). Finland’s SONATA ARCTICA have named their seventh studio album Stones Grow Her Name. Recorded in several studios all over Finland, mixed at Sonic Pump Studios by Mikko Karmila and mastered at Chartmakers by Svante Forsbäck, the album will be released in Europe on May 18th and in North America on May 22nd.
