In the wake of the release of their upcoming album, Urd , on March 26th in Europe and in North America, Norwegian avant-garde metallers BORKNAGAR have announced a new drummer for the band's line-up. The exceptionally talented youngster Baard Kolstad is now joining BORKNAGAR as their drummer, and he will perform his first show together with the band at this year's Inferno Festival during April 4th-7th in Oslo, Norway (www.infernofestival.net). Kolstad's extreme drum abilities have been proven through several YouTube clips, TV-appearances in Norway-- and just recently, he won the world championship in V- Drums in Los Angeles.

'Blacklight Magick', Necrotek's second album on Vendetta Music coming out on March 27th, is an homage to the psychedelic electro-industrial sound of the 80s and 90s. It presents dark industrial electronics with gothic atmospheres and themes of disillusion, heartbreak, drugs, magick and horror. While staying true to his old-school influences, Necrotek has developed a singular and unique sound, setting him apart from the usual "industrial" fare of the current scene; the music is menacing and hypnotic, energetic and evocative, with lyrics that explore a philosophical questioning of existential experience.

Dynamic metal rockers IN THIS MOMENT recently headed in to the studio to begin work on their new album, the fourth for longtime label Century Media Records. The southern Californian-based band has once again tapped studio great Kevin Churko (Ozzy Osbourne, Five Finger Death Punch) to helm the production of the as-of-yet-untitled record, which is slated for a Summer, 2012 release. Front woman Maria Brink commented, "There are no words to describe how excited we are... we are on fire with this record. It's by far the most powerful material we have ever written. IN THIS MOMENT has gone through some big changes. I admit sometimes change is scary, especially when facing the unknown, but in this case everything has been perfectly meant to be.
