Lots of elderly people will take a trip down memory lane when remembering her song "Twist in my Sobriety". But Tanita is more than just this song with its wonderful sonore timbre. Born in German Münster, she released her debut album "Ancient Heart" in 1988. Following were another seven studio albums. On 13th July, she'll be back with her ninth studio album "Can't Go Back", released via earMusic/ Edel. The album will be available as standard CD edition as well as Special Double-CD Edition in Digipak, including eight acoustic versions. A first single, "Dust On My Shoes", will be out on 11th May 2012.

THE SMASHING PUMPKINS will release a new album, 'Oceania', on 18th June 2012 via EMI Music. Now, the band revealed the cover artwork. The picture of deep beauty was taken by photographer Richard Shay, son of legendary Chicago based photo artist Art Shay. 'Oceania' was recorded at the home studio of singer/guitarist Billy Corgan, together with his band mates Jeff Schroeder (guitar), Mike Byrne (drums) and Nicole Fiorentino (bass and vocals). The album contains 13 songs which were produced by Corgan together with Bjorn Thorsrud, mixed by David Bottrill. The 7th studio album of the PUMPKINS is "an album in an album" and with that it is part of a 44 songs grasping cycle 'Teargarden by Kaleidoscope' which is just being in progress.

The "El Gringo" Theme Is From MANOWAR's Forthcoming Album.
MANOWAR and After Dark Films announced today that a track from the new, forthcoming MANOWAR album will be the theme song for the After Dark Action franchise film, EL GRINGO, an action Western starring Scott Adkins (The Expendables 2, The Bourne Ultimatum), Christian Slater and Yvette Yates (Without Men).

An archaic journey into the depths of the forests – Alexander Paul Blake offers gratis download of "Waldkathedrale"
Recently Alexander Paul Blake (Eden Weint Im Grab) released his first solo album "Die Rückkehr ins Goldene Zeitalter" on the German label Einheit Produktionen. The album contains about one hour of nature mystic Black Metal with folklore elements, which could appeal to fans of bands like Agalloch, early Ulver, Wolves In The Throne Room or Emyprium. In 2009, Inside-Project, french thrash-hardcore act released a debut EP entitled "Alone facing death".
