DARK TRANQUILLITY are proud to present the 5th promo video for their latest album "We Are The Void" that came out in early 2010. The video was filmed by the band themselves on the road, with guitarist Niklas Sundin taking care of the editing/post production duties. Additional live footage was provided by Anders Björler (The Haunted, At The Gates) and Nikolas Pegler. Check it out HERE! Niklas Sundin comments the video: "I wanted to create a live video that would capture the energy of our show both from the audience's perspective as well as from the stage. To accomplish this, we headed out on our recent Europe/Russia tours equipped with a GoPro HD camera, which was mounted on various objects (guitar necks, vocal microphone, member's bodies etc.) on most of the shows. Despite probably looking pretty weird for those in the crowd that noticed the little device, we arrived home with a lot of interesting footage, and after a lot of editing we're happy to present the final result: A clip for "In my absence", filled with an energy and closeness out of the ordinary. Enjoy!"

Greek melodic metallers FIREWIND, lead by guitar wizard and Ozzy Osbourne band-member Gus G., have recently finished working on their newest studio effort "Few Against Many". Mixed by Jason Suecof & Eyal Levi at Audiohammer Studios (Trivium, All That Remains, Death Angel, etc.) in Orlando, Florida, the band are excited to announce 'Few Against Many' will be released May 21st, 2012 via Century Media Records in Europe. FIREWIND have also just confirmed shows in China and Taiwan for August, so Gus G. checked in to give a quick band-update as follows: "Wow, China and Taiwan! That's places we are truly looking forward to visit! We also just wrapped up the mixing of the new album and it's sounding awesome! We can't wait for you guys to get to hear this new monster..."

2011 has definitely a great year for Blutengel... thanks to you! After two sold-out tours and two CD-releases hitting the German Media Control album charts last year, Blutengel want to thank you with an exclusive autograph session tour through Germany. On all days, the band will take enough time to give you ample opportunity to take pictures, get your stuff signed and for some small talk (this was not always possible on the last concert tour due to a tight time schedule.) In selected cities, there will also be a special party at a club in the evening, where Blutengel will first screen the "Tränenherz Tour Live"-DVD from the special edition of the "Nachtbringer"-release and then Chris will hit the decks to have you dancing the night away. In Berlin, the group will be giving a special concert show on the day following the autograph session, as part of the Out Of Line Weekender festival. Don't miss it!

Thematically, the video is based on a profound background story. Front man Bastian Emig describes it like that: ""Soul Apart" describes the consequences that the pure experiences after having been in a conflict with the depraved, while it detaches itself from it and turns away. Doing so, it was not really our intention to work up the lyrics in the video but we rather wanted to give the lyrics a whole new visual dimension accompanying the music. In a brash and degenerate environment, one individual manages to free himself by using the power of his own imagination and the given means to his own advantages. Instinct and a strong will hold his soul together and prevent him from being led astray by his perception. Those are important means to spread out your own wings:"
