Soundscaping meet Songwriting, guitar textures, minimalist electronics, apache beat and some strums of the bass guitar- THE WARS revive New Wave and German Prog Rock as it was played in the 70s and early 80s. Founded in 2008 in Berlin, the trio received favourable reactions with their debut EP already. The following year would prove a more than successful year for the band who finally will release their debut album 'Healings' in March. Occupy Movement, Fukushima, European Crisis, Bin Laden etc. All things happening while the album's been in the works and which have found, one way or another, a place within the music and lyrics of the album that will drop in March.

It's 3 years ago that US electro pop outfit CHAIRLIFT found themselves entering international singles chart with their single 'Bruises' after it had been used for an IPod advertising campaign. The album 'Does You Inspire You' followed the same year. The second CHAIRLIFT album, titled 'Something' is going to be released in a few weeks now. The songs all were recorded in collaboration with Dan Carey and Alan Moulder between 2010 and 2011 in New York and London. All in all, I t took 18 months to be completed.

Bristol experimental act Allflaws enter 2012 with a edgy and dark two track EP called R Complex. It features the title track and a second track called Unreality. The EP is yet another brooding concoction of industrial, electronica, industrial, dubstep, trip hop andrap. Fusing the eclectic Allflaws sound with front man Gabriel Curran's thought provoking and eloquent lyricism. R Complex once again demonstrates how Allflaws attempt to mix and match different styles and merge them into something which is completely their own. One of the heaviest new Alternative-Metal groups to emerge from Italy, KLOGR (pronounced Kay-log-are), will be releasing their mind-blistering debut CD titled 'TillYou Decay' in January 2012 on Valery Records.
