Big feelings, a darkly tinged and highly immersive atmosphere, lyrics that go under your skin and a large, cinematic sound comprised of big guitars riffs, gripping piano licks and opulent strings: on its new single, Berlin-based group Staubkind melds all of this one massively mesmerizing whole. Produced by Henning Verlage (of Unheilig-fame), “Kannst du mich seh’n” is touching in a very honest and unpretentious way and goes to show that German language Rock music can be more than your usual mainstream fare while being gripping and immersive as hell. On the b-side track “Gnadenlos”, the guitars have a more dominant role in a song that is as catchy as it is powerful. The CD single is topped off by the title song in a moving piano version, an electronic club mix and a remix by label mates Lord Of The Lost. Staubkind aim right for the heart and hit bull’s eye! The single is out on 24th February 2011.

Korn - “The Path Of Totality” Tour
KORN brought rage back into Rock music. The Californians were revitalising a whole genre being said to be very un-cool at the beginning of the 90s: Heavy Metal!
