This is a very special moment. The Area4 Festival is going to take place from 17th to 19th August 2012. At Flugplatz Borkenberge as usual. There's still a lot of things to sort, but the decision whether the festival will take place or not shouldn't be postponed any further. Back to the good news. The first headliner for 2012 is already confirmed with BEATSTEAKS.

After taking a trip back in time with the “Draconian Times MMXI” DVD/Live Album (the London legacy show of their classic album from 1995) and also Gregor Mackintosh’s return to his crusty Doom / Death Metal roots with Vallenfyre (along his mates from My Dying Bride, Doom and At The Gates), it’s time for PARADISE LOST’s 13th studio album.
Gregor Mackintosh (lead guitar): "We are currently holed up in The Chapel studios in Lincolnshire, England recording our new album which is entitled ‘Tragic Idol’. The album will again be produced by Jens Bogren and is influenced by classic doom metal and classic metal. I would say it is more melodic than the last record whilst retaining the heaviness. There are lots of guitar solos and melodies. The album will contain such track titles as ‘Honesty in Death’, ‘Theories from Another World’, ‘In this We Dwell’ and the title track ‘Tragic Idol’.”

Massacre Records are happy to announce the signing of NIGHTQUEEN from Genk, Belgium! NIGHTQUEEN's history began in late 2004 when guitarist and songwriter Rex Zeco decided to compose a kind of metal for everyone. The formula was simple: strong guitar riffs, upgraded with the modern metal beats and a melodic melody with catchy tunes that sare stuck in the head for a long time. The band reformed a few times before the right line-up was found: Keely Larreina (Lead vocals), Daniel Kells (Keyboards), Rex Zeco (Guitar), Alan Rawson (Guitar), Steven Steele (Bass) and William Blodyn (Drums). Only a couple of weeks to go until Christmas, that's why NIGHTQUEEN present the ultimate Christmas metal song: "X-Mas Wonderland".
