Lynyed Skynyrd
Originally, US-American Rock band LYNYRD SKYNYRD was founded already in 1964 as a Blues-Rock septet. In 1977, the band - which counts to the most important representatives of the Southern-Rock by now - split up after a plane crash, where besides singer Ronnie van Zant also guitarist Steve Gaines, his sister Cassie Gaines and the band’s manager Dean Kilpatrick died. In 1987, the band came together again, originally merely for a Reunion tour. But then they decided to move on once more on a continuing basis and published new albums over and over again.
