DOWN BELOW is a rock band from Dessau-Roßlau / Germany, which was founded in 2003. Their music is a mixture of Alternative Rock and Dark Rock. They had their breakthrough in 2007 with the release of the single ‘From The Highest Point’. In 2008, they reached place 3 of the federal vision song contest with 'Sand In Meiner Hand'. During the last both years they toured together with the German band UNHEILIG.

The Sisters of Mercy
Although THE SISTERS OF MERCY has only released three full length albums (‘First And Last And Always’ (1985), ‘Floodland’ (1987) and ‘Vision Thing’ (1990)) over more than thirty years, they’re known as one of the biggest influences in new wave and gothic music. THE SISTERS OF MERCY was found in 1980 by Andrew Eldritch and Gary Marx. Unsatisfied with the results of their first release, a drum computer, later named Dktor Avalance, was added to the line-up. This proved to be a great success and THE SISTERS OF MERCY created a new sound and style with their next albums.

Saltatio Mortis with support Cumulo Nimbus
SALTATIO MORTIS (Latin for 'death dance') is a Middle Ages Rock band, which was founded in 2000. They count to best-known of their genre. On the 2nd of September 2011 appeared their new album ‘Sturm aufs Paradies', which reached place 3 in the German charts already in the first sales week. Now we can look forward SALTATIO MORTIS coming to the Backstage Werk in Munich on the 18th of November 2011. They are accompanied by the Middle Ages Rock band CUMULO NIMBUS coming from Landsberg/Lech.

Alfa Matrix celebrates it's 10th anniversary with a free download compilation on Facebook. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Alfa Matrix label, the Brussels (BE) based electronic music label - housing such acts as Front 242, PNE, amGod, ... - decided to give their loyal fan base something for free: "Matrix Downloaded (001)" a 34 track compilation which can be downloaded for free on the label's Facebook page at www.facebook.com/Alfa.Matrix. Most of the 34 tracks on the compilation or rare or exclusive and only feature Alfa Matrix bands. Since going online the compilation has been downloaded close to 5,000 times.
