Greek melodic Metallers FIREWIND, led by guitar wizard and Ozzy Osbourne band-member Gus G., have recently finished working on their newest studio effort "Few Against Many" and have announced a European release for May 21st, 2012 via Century Media Records. In the light of the upcoming new album's release, the band has now also announced the first dates for their main European tour to promote "Few Against Many" for September/October together with Leaves' Eyes. Here are the dates announced so far:

FIREWIND's Gus G. checked in to comment on the tour as follows: "All of us in the Firewind camp are very happy to return to European stages, play for our faithful followers again and make new ones. Joining our "Few Against Many" campaign are the well-known and respected Leave's Eyes. We're all looking forward to this!"

Leaves' Eyes vocalist Liv added the following: "Firewind and Leaves' Eyes is a killer live package! Moreover, we will be able to play at places where we haven't performed so far. I am really looking forward to this tour and to be on the road with the guys of Firewind."

Next to the previously announced festival dates, FIREWIND have now also been confirmed to perform at this year's edition of UK's prestigious Download Festival at Donington Park, where FIREWIND last appeared in 2008. This year's stellar line-up includes heavyweights such as Metallica, Black Sabbath, Soundgarden, Megadeth, The Prodigy, Machine Head, Slash and many more. FIREWIND's upcoming album, "Few Against many", was mixed by Jason Suecof & Eyal Levi at Audiohammer Studios (Trivium, All That Remains, Death Angel, etc.) and mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side Music (Mastodon, Hatebreed, Symphony X, etc.). The iconic album's artwork was once again created by FIREWIND's longtime partner in all design matters, Gustavo Sazes / http://www.abstrata.net (Arch Enemy, Angra, Dream Evil, etc.), who has been working with the band since the release of the album "The Premonition". FIREWIND have previously launched "making of" videos from the album's recordings session via the band's YouTube channel (http://www.youtube.com/firetv).
