Successful Swiss Pagan band ELUVEITE has been confirmed to headline the Paganfest Tour in spring 2012 with PRIMORDIAL, NEGURA BUNGET, HEIDEVOLK and SOLSTAFIR. Singer Chrigel Glanzmann states: "Of course we look forward to the Paganfest Tour 2012! One hand, we can not wait to show our fans the songs from our new album 'Helvetios' live (and we will do this extensively on Paganfest). On the other hand, we look forward to tour with such cool bands and to be on the road with good friends, like the Irish guys from Primordial. We are convinced of the line-up of the upcoming Paganfest. It is an honor for us to headline this package of great bands. Aussie technical death metal outfit, Psycroptic, has revealed the cover art for the band’s fifth studio album, The Inherited Repression, which will hit stores on February 7th in North America and February 10th in Europe on Nuclear Blast Records. Commented Psycroptic guitarist, Joe Haley, “The Inherited Repression is far and away my favorite Psycroptic album thus far - all of us in the band think this. It’s the age-old cliché from bands when they talk about their current album as being the best of their career, blah, blah, but I have to say it because it’s true. We wouldn’t think there is a point of going on if we couldn’t outdo each album prior. We are certainly not playing music for anything else than the love of creating it and performing it.

The official X-Mas anthem for all metalheads from legendary metal queen DORO (feat. Onkel Tom Angelripper) is just released today! "I had the feeling, the time was right to record a song for X-Mas.“, says Doro. „I am at recording my new album right now, which should be out by next summer. While doing this, I suddenly came up with a fitting melody and lyrics. I definitely wanted something loud and funny”, she explains.

Following some years of silence, the Swedish death metal outfit THE FORSAKEN is back and has signed a new European deal with Massacre Records! Since winter 2010 guitarist Calle Fäldt (ex-Deranged, Feared Creation) is a full-time member of the band, replacing Stefan Holm. He is a perfectly adjusted wheel in the machinery of THE FORSAKEN, fitting perfectly both in his string execution and in the bands chemistry. With a complete line-up once again, THE FORSAKEN are ready to unleash destruction upon the masses once more! The new, fourth album is taking form and is scheduled to be released in spring 2012.
