The Exploding Boy
History of THE EXPLODING BOY starts in January 2006 when Swedish artist Sophie Rimheden heard the first demo recording she offered to produce upcoming material. Since the demand for a live presentation grew considerably, the band started expanding their line-up and eventually debuted live in May of their foundation year. From there on the public interest in the Swedish bunch would considerably grow, both on the side of critics and fans and the following debut album’s release in 2007 would be supported with an extensive tour.

Iron Maiden
It was in the middle 1970s that a band called IRON MAIDEN emerged, later to be known being a forming factor to 1980s Heavy Metal and one of the most successful bands in that genre. Uriah Heep, Nazareth, The Brew
Both URIAH HEEP & NAZARETH need no too detailed introduction to rock fans. That’s why a little breakdown should be more than enough. Both bands are icons in their own right and their respective genre; the former’s career kicked off in 1969 and still seen as a precursor to the progressive metal genre, being one of the first bands to mingle elements of both worlds, but rather emphasizing melodic elements later. This year as seen the band releasing ‘Into The Wild’ most likely extensively covered in Oberhausen.

New album from Chris Peterson (Delerium, Front Line Assembly) and friends: hard industrial fused with metal. Acclaimed as one of the hardest and most intense groups in the industrial genre, DECREE returns after a 7-year hiatus to present their third album: FATELESS. Frontman Chris Peterson, known for his work with Delerium and Front Line Assembly, pulls no punches in creating a veritable wall of sound, mercilessly pushing sonic boundaries. The album features nine tracks, including the stand-out title track, the pounding Bloodthirst, and the outstanding Faded Glory. Here is a band that never compromises and although they’ve managed only three albums in the last 15 years, the results are superb. Released on May 3rd, 2011 on Artoffact Records.

The third album from Sweden's Necro Facility, following their worldwide club hit collaboration with Covenant. Wintermute is simply put an evolution in industrial music, one of the best crafted albums to be recorded in the genre's history. That's a tall statement but for a band that has taken four years to deliver their fourth CD, it's a believable one. Recorded at Lionheart Studios in Stockholm, Wintermute delivers exactly what the industrial genre has been needing. A strong dose of intelligent pop injected into a difficult production that would make Skinny Puppy and Cyberactive swoon.
