It is very seldom that a musical project succeeds in capturing the essence of beauty in such mesmerizing sounds as Seventh Harmonic have accomplished on their new album “Garden Of Dilmun.” Core duo Caroline Jago (also in Sol Invictus) and Ann-Mari Thim (who is also the vocalist of Arcana) weave together intricate patterns from neo-classical and folkloristic elements, driven to sheer sonic bliss by Ann-Mari’s ethereally beautiful voice. Loosely inspired by the Pagan canon, “Garden Of Dilmun” unfolds a cornucopia of emotions, instruments and soundscapes on an acoustic journey that effectively transcends the concept of an album being a mere collection of songs and becomes an all-encompassing experience, instead. Swedish Viking Death Metal Kings AMON AMARTH receive worldwide acclaim by fans for their brand new album 'Surtur Rising'! 'Surtur Rising', the latest studio album from Swedish death metal tyrants, AMON AMARTH sold approximately 15,000 copies in the United States in its first week landing the band the #34 on the Billboard Top 200, #6 on the Billboard Top Independent Album, #1 on the Billboard Top Hard Music Albums and #10 on the Indy/Small Chain Core Store Chart. Julien-K will return to Europe in summer 2011 to promote their still untitled sophomore album."Our last european tour was amazing. We where totally surprised with the turnout of our first run through Europe so we thought we would come back this summer to play festivals and start promoting the new album." Ryan Shuck explains. "We have a very loyal fanbase here in the US and all over the world and we have met so many new friends on our last tours with Dead By Sunrise in February and with Julien-K in August, it just seemed natural for us to come back this year. We love to travel. Meeting new people, playing new places are a big part of the fun in our job."

Last weekend I hopped on a plane with K-Large to fly to Sheffield in the UK and play the first ever Resistanz Festival that was held at the Corporation, a club which I really like. This was also the first show with the Lord AND Daniel & Joe on stage at the same time and I dare say that I currently don’t know of a more energetic/powerful keyboard-crew than those three!
