Sting - Back to Bass
After the enormous success of his North-American tour, STING will visit Europe with his “Back to Bass Tour” in spring 2012. For the 25th anniversary of his solo career, the focus will be based on bass, all hits reduced to their unique core and presented pure like not done for years. Besides Cologne, the tour will also stop in Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Berlin.
STING will be accompanied by a quintet consisting of his long-time guitarist Gitarristen Dominic Miller, Rufus Miller (guitar), Vinnie Colaiuta (drums), Peter Tickell (electric violin) and vocalist Jo Lawry. The set will contain many songs of his dynamic solo career: from the debut ‘The Dream Of The Blue Turtles’ from 1985 to his latest release ‘Live In Berlin’. Additionally, you’ll get a fine selection of the biggest POLICE hits. As highlights can be counted ‘Desert Rose‘, ‘Every Breath You Take’ and ‘Fields Of Gold’. This special concert surely shouldn’t be missed! Since it is already sold out, there are only minor chances you still get hold of a ticket though.
