Ist Ist - “Light a bigger Fire EU Tour”

Established in late 2014, IST IST have forged a formidable reputation on word-of-mouth excitement at their uncompromisingly intense live shows, a fierce Mancunian DIY work ethic and an ever-growing back catalogue of successful studio and live releases, all self-released through their own Kind Violence Records imprint. They have earned an excellent reputation with their uncompromisingly intense live shows and a strong DIY work ethic. Their debut album ‘Architecture’, which they released on their own label Kind Violence Records in the midst of the pandemic, was a great success in the indie and vinyl world.

With their second album ‘The Art of Lying’, which reached number 87 on the UK Top 100 at the end of 2021, they established themselves as one of the leading forces of a new music era born in Manchester. Following the release, they embarked on a ten-day UK tour with sold-out shows in cities including Manchester, London, and Bristol, as well as a series of sold-out European dates. In March 2023, the band released their third album ‘Protagonists’. ‘Light A Bigger Fire’ is the fourth album by the English band.

Their 2023 European and UK tours saw them play to over 8,000 people in nine countries. IST IST’s reach has already spread beyond the shores of the UK, selling out prestigious venues in the Netherlands and Germany, bucking the trend of UK acts struggling in Europe post-Brexit. With previous championing from BBC 6Music, Radio X, XS Manchester, KINK, The Times and more, brimming with confidence and their strongest body of work to date in their pocket and the new record released in September 2023, IST IST are set to light bigger fires everywhere they go in 2024.
