SALTATIO MORTIS is a band with two faces. For one there are the medieval minstrels playing medieval market music on various medieval instruments but there’s also the other face: Loud, timeless, cheeky, critical, political, and never predictable - That’s the rock formation SALTATIO MORTIS! After in summer 2007, they’ve released their best album so far with ‘Aus der Asche’ the seven medieval rockers around “Alea der Bescheidene” embarked on extensive club and festival tour. With a new album in the pipeline they’re now coming back to us for the ‘Wer Wind sät’ tour 2009 and stop at Cologne’s Live Music Hall.
