2nd Zeltfest Ruhr 2009
2009 will be the year when the beautiful scenery of the Kemnader See in Bochum will once again become the scenery for the Zeltfest Ruhr with its second edition. For 17 days, you’ll have the chance to attend a colourful potpourri of events on the festival.
These events vary from day to day and offer and can be concerts as well as readings, a cabaret show and many more. Furthermore, there’ll be a huge area containing a market, an open-air restaurant and a beer garden to spend some time before and/or after your desired events. So, I guess now you want to know something about who’s coming to the fest and I’d love to give you a brief overview of some of the fest’s highlight you can look forward to.
On Friday, 21st August, amongst others STEFAN GWILDIS will showcase his talent of giving authentic German re-interpretation of soul classics of the likes of RAY CHARLES or OTIS REDDING. The following Sunday is going to be a feat for the young ones with 3 child circuses. Continuing through the days, the fest offers appearances by comedian GAYLE TUFTS or HENNES BENDER, sets musical accents with shows by SILBERMOND, POLARKREIS 18 or AMY MACDONALD or feeds the hunger for culture with readings of SARAH KUTTNER or BASTIAN PASTEWKA.
