Oktoberhallen, Wieze, Belgium

It is already the seventh edition of this female fronted festival. Two days full of many respectful bands from the gothic and rock scene from all over the world are coming over to Wieze. With headliners like EPICA, DELAIN, TARJA TURUNEN and DORO.
Since their beginning MFVF managed to put bands together, creating a family unless backstage. It is a platform for upcoming bands, and a highlight for the fans in many ways. A few years ago Leaves’ Eyes recorded their dvd in the Oktoberhallen, with their huge Viking ship. This year the Dutch gothic band EPICA will record the live show as a part of their upcoming dvd.

There is a special offer during the Christmas period, between December and January than the tickets are cheaper. There is a VIP ticket to get access to the backstage area. There are seats, meet bands and more. You can order that on the MFVF website. There is a competition among the VIP members, you can win a photoshoot with your favorite band. Only twenty persons each day so be fast.

Parking/train

On the MFVF website there is a car sharing possibility. Also it is possible to
make a reservation for a bus shuttle from Gent, Brugge and Hasselt/Liège . Limit date for these cities is end of August. Reservations for Brussels and Aalst have started, don't wait too much, these busses should be full quickly.

There is a cloakroom on the balcony for bags and coats, for one euro. It is allowed to bring a small camera. As well as a small bottle of water and some food.
