KATAKLYSM, BELPHEGOR, DARKEST HOUR, SUICIDAL ANGELS, RESISTANCEThe promising title of the upcoming “European Massacre” tour Canadian KATAKLYSM and their supporting bands will be on at the beginning of the year 2010 might lead to high expectations of all death metal heads who enjoy highly aggressive drum beats as well as appropriate growling and screaming vocals.
Maurizio Iacono (vocals), Max Duhamel (drums), Jean-Francois Dagenais (guitars) and Stéphane Barbe (bass), who call themselves musical representatives of “hyperblast”, released their most recent long-player `Prevail´ in 2008. Since they have formed KATAKLYSM in 1991, they have been recording all in all nine long-players such as the debut `Sorcery´ (1995) and `The Prophecy (Stigmata of the Immaculate)´ (2000). Touring the USA and Canada in this year’s November and December, the guys should be warmed up with regard to their appearances in Europe. Therefore, a memorable summit of metal will be guaranteed on 7th January 2010 when KATAKLYSM is going to appear at the Frankfurt club Batschkapp.
