NIGHTBRINGER is an American Black Metal band, formed in 1999. Ever since, they have released, alongside several splits, four full-length records, the most recent one being ‘Ego Dominus Tuus’ (2014). On this album, the five-piece manage to refine their very own interpretation of Second Wave Black Metal, which combines atmospheric and raw riffs as well as longer, at times more or less complex song-structures. Taken together, ‘Ego Dominus Tuus’ offers a dense and packed album, which is best consumed in its entirety.
Conclusion: Raw, evil and dark - highly recommended!
