Tunes from the underground this evening: BROKEN TRINITY from Atlanta, Georgia. These guys formed this extraordinarily interesting and strange outfit in 2018 and listening to these killer tunes you just pray to thy infernal majesty they are here to stay. Solid as a rock riffing from Sean Morissey and Ray Adriano, epic bass lines served cold by Forrest Hinton and vocals both heavenly and hellish given to us by Steve Cannon (what a beast of a vocalist). And if you check them out do me a favour and check their videos too, yes Steve does the epic Doom / Power Metal vocals AND the Black / Death growls and screams. I only hope this guy does not destroy his beautiful voice. The lyrics are almost worthy of ATLANTEAN KODEX fame when it comes to drama and sound. The Metal Archives compares BROKEN TRINITY to FLAMEKEEPER but I am also reminded of SOLITUDE AETERNUS regarding the clean epic vocal parts. This two song demo is one of the biggest surprises of 2019 and almost at eye level with CRYPT SERMON and ORODRUIN.
Conclusion: If you like good old epic doom and have a weak spot for demon-like growls check out BROKEN TRINITY!
