With each and every release of his, Spanish H.ZOMBIE (known mostly by his previous bands CARNICEROS DEL NORTE and NAUGHTY ZOMBIES) manages to transmit a sense of dance with a take-no-prisoner attitude. And in this CD he has decided to delve with a more Dark Electro, Aggrotech aspect of the music. The results are so good that you can leave the CD on for about 25 minutes (as long as it lasts that is) and everyone will have a great time. There are no fillers here, au contraire each and every song builds a harsher and more aggressive atmosphere than the previous one - at times almost phantasmagorical - with a relentless bass line. His approach to the Day of the Dead is not coming from tourist’s photo album it is dance floor consuming if I can put it this way. H.ZOMBIE establishes himself with a tremendous ease among the leading Dark Electro/Industrial bands. Or in other words: do not miss this album.
