Punk rockers NEMHAIN featuring AT THE GATES / ex-CRADLE OF FILTH drummer Adrian Erlandsson and his wife Amber, will unleashed its long-awaited debut album ‘From The Ashes’ via Tiefdruck Musik. The CD was recorded and mixed over a three-week period in April 2008 at the Studio Fredman in Hyssna, Sweden.
Without a doubt NEMHAIN makes some honest, straight-to-the-point Rock’n’Roll music without any fake claptrap in-between. It's smooth sailing from start to finish. For instance, ‘Second Skin’ being the band's current single and music video to date tends to withhold that punk rock vibration with added guitar riffs that keeps the music bouncy and unbalanced making the music withstand just about anything without being considered nonsense.
‘Heroin Child’, ‘The Filth And The Fury’ and ‘Speed Queen’ round off this punk rock delight having those added riffs with structured guitar solos and added drum tactics that maintains to keep the music edgy but grasps you by your throat possessing that “In Your Face” attitude rush. NEMHAIN is a promised to be the next big if not best thing within the punk rock category and it’s about time because this is what us punk rockers have been eagerly wanted.
