The first bands for next year's Rock-Fels festival have recently been announced. Also the ticket pre-sale for the festival, which takes place at the Lorely from 10th to 11th of June 2016, has started on Friday 23th of October 2015. The bands announced so far are:
EISBRECHER: Being one of the most successful live acts on the Germen music scene right now, EISBRECHER are well known for their very own unique way in combining stoic but powerful beats with intelligent and humorous lyrics.
SONATA ARCTICA: With their rousing and bombastic power metal, SONATA ARCTICA from Finland are one of the rising stars on the metal scene these days.
J.B.O.: German band J.B.O., famous all over the country for their parodies on rock – and pop songs, are to release their new album on July 8th, 2016 and will present some of the new songs live for the first time on Rock-Fels Festival.
D.A.D: Formed in 1982, the Danish band D.A.D (former Disneyland After Dark) had great international success in 1989 with their album ‘No Fuel Left For The Pilgrims’ and are regular guests at the Roskilde Festival.
LEAVES' EYES: It is the combination of powerful, bombastic metal and the strong, charismatic voice of Norwegian singer Liv Kristine that makes the sound of the band Leaves' Eyes so distinctively unique.
MUSTASCH: Influenced by bands like DEEP PURLPE and BLACK SABBATH, the Swedish band MUSTASCH take their audience on a journey back in time with their powerful 70ties rock sounds.
