Inspired by the work on Blutengel's symphonic album “Black Symphonies” and his show at the first Gothic-Meets-Klassik-Festival, Chris Pohl remained fascinated by the massive sound that only a full orchestra can provide. Being a big fan of Fantasy-movies and computer role playing games and their soundtracks, he became enchanted by the idea of creating his own symphonic epics. And, hand on heart, which musician hasn't dreamed about making the tunes that accompany the films in our imagination a reality at least once in his life? With Blutengel-producer Mario Rühlicke, Chris found the ideal partner in crime who was just as obsessed with the idea of creating his very own symphonic epic. - Details

INTERPOL are back! The band will release its fifth studio album 'El Pintor' on 5th September 2014. The album was recorded at the Electric Lady Studios & at Atomic Sound in NYC where it was produced by Daniel Kessler (guitar),Samuel Fogarino (drums) and Paul Banks themselves. Cabaret Voltaire have announced a rare live performance, the first in over 20 years, at the Berlin Atonal festival on 23 August 2014. With a line up now consisting solely of machines, multi-screen projections and Richard H Kirk, this will be the first Cabaret Voltaire performance since November 1992 and will feature exclusively new material and no nostalgia. The performance promises to be something relevant for the first Cabaret Voltaire outing of the 21st Century.- Details

Polish death metal monsters DECAPITATED have announced the title of the band's upcoming album. The 6th DECAPITATED album will be entitled 'Blood Mantra' and is set to be released September 26, 2014 via Nuclear Blast. The artwork was created by Polish artist, Lukasz Jaszak, who also made the cover of 'Carnival Is Forever'. 'Blood Mantra' was recorded at Hertz Studio in Bialystok (Poland) under the direction of Wojtek and Slawek Wiesawski.
