five finger death punch legacyFIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH just announced their long-awaited tenth studio album ‘Legacy’. The digital version will be released on 31 July and is available for pre-order HERE. CD, vinyl and cassette will be released on 18 September and are available for pre-order HERE.

“Every album is a snapshot of who we were at that particular moment in time, and ‘Legacy’ is exactly what the title suggests,” explains guitarist Zoltan Bathory. “It’s a reflection on the journey, the lessons, the victories, the struggles, and everything we’ve experienced over the last two decades.”

He continues: “What makes that journey meaningful is that we didn’t make it alone. We travelled this road alongside millions of fans around the world and somehow became part of each other’s lives. That’s an incredible thing to reflect on twenty years later.”

Singer Ivan Moody goes on to say: “At the same time, ‘Legacy’ isn’t about looking backward. 20 years is a milestone, not a destination. We’re incredibly proud of this record because it captures everything people love about FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH while also pointing toward where we’re headed next.”

He summarises: “Our philosophy has always been that this journey doesn’t come with a self-imposed ceiling. Every goal we’ve reached simply revealed another horizon beyond it. We never believed the sky was the limit; if anything, it’s where the true journey begins. Here’s to our shared legacy.”

A brand-new song, ‘De Oppresso Liber’, is also released today, providing another promising taste of the new album.

“‘De Oppresso Liber’ is more than just a motto,” says Bathory. “It’s a calling. It’s a philosophy. It represents a willingness to stand between danger and those who cannot defend themselves. Throughout human history, there have always been people who were drawn to accept that responsibility. This song is our way of paying respect to that mindset.”

The lead single ‘Eye Of The Storm’ was released last month and is already at number five on the US rock radio charts this week. At the same time, the song has already achieved over four million streams on Spotify. Revolver described the song as “huge” and praised in particular: “it mixes a flurry of battering metal chugs with a sense of melody, plus Ivan Moody’s pensive-but-barked lyrics hinting at fears, regrets, burdens, blame, and the search for some kind of inner peace”. Loudwire raved: “The song is a driving, furious banger that kicks off what’s expected to be a new album cycle in grand fashion.”

This summer, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH kick off the first leg of their “20th Anniversary World Tour”. This will take them across North America together with special guests CODY JINKS and EVA UNDER FIRE, before the arena tour comes to Europe in early 2027 alongside LAMB OF GOD and BLEED FROM WITHIN.

The “20th Anniversary World Tour” is both a celebration and a statement honouring the band’s journey - from their formation in 2005 to the release of their debut album ‘The Way Of The Fist’ in 2007 and their role as arena headliners worldwide. The setlist will therefore be packed with material from the new album alongside classic anthems and number 1 hits that have shaped the last two decades.

Produced by Live Nation, the 48-date North American tour begins on Monday, 20 July, at the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion in Camden, New Jersey. It concludes on Friday, 23 October, at Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, Virginia.

In addition to celebrating their twenty-year musical anniversary, the band also intend to use their platform to give something back. FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH have long been considered one of the most charitable Rock bands and have been committed to various good causes for decades, including US military veterans, first responders and their families. In 2026, the band continue this tradition by supporting Team USA in the run-up to the upcoming Olympic and Paralympic Games, which will take place on American soil in Los Angeles in 2028. As part of the tour’s goal to support the next generation of American athletes, a portion of the ticket proceeds from the 2026 North American tour will benefit high-performance programmes for US Olympic and Paralympic athletes as they prepare for international competitions.

“The support from FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH means the world to us and our BMX programs,” says USA Cycling President & CEO, Brendan Quirk. “As a nonprofit National Governing Body that receives no government funding, we’re already at a disadvantage compared to many of the world’s leading cycling nations as we prepare for the home Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2028. We’re working to raise awareness of that reality and the challenges it creates for our athletes.”

Quirk continues: “Their support will have a tremendous impact on both our BMX Racing and BMX Freestyle programs, helping fund critical preparation opportunities such as training camps, international competition travel, and qualification events. Every opportunity to train and compete on the world stage is essential as our athletes chase qualification points and prepare to perform at their best in Los Angeles.”

“We are sincerely grateful to Zoltan and FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH for their generous support of our athlete programs,” says USA Judo CEO Corinne Shigemoto. “Judo has played a meaningful role in Zoltan’s life, and his decision to give back to the sport in this way reflects a deep commitment to its future. The band’s generosity will have a direct impact on our athletes through expanded high-performance programming as we prepare for the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games.”

The European leg of the tour with LAMB OF GOD and BLEED FROM WITHIN kicks off on Saturday, 16 January 2027, in Manchester (UK) and takes the band through 21 cities in the UK and Europe before concluding in Helsinki on 22 February 2027.
