German melodic death metallers Emergency Gate are taking it to the next level, announcing the first dates of their upcoming world tour. Needless to say, a tour of these proportions needs a brand new album to go along with it, which also seems to be home and dry. The new album will be called “Infected” and is set to be released punctually for the kick-off of the Wacken Road Show on September 26th. Statement by bass player Mario: “It feels unreal. When I started the band “Emergency Gate” many years ago, I (and probably any other musician out there) had the dream and, at the same time, the goal to go on a world tour. This dream is going to be fulfilled! We will be touring Europe, Asia and Australia and we will be performing at several festivals such as the Nova Rock Festival, Austria, together with our friend and special guest Haddaway. - Details

Multi-cultural blues rockers BLUES PILLS are forced to discontinue their current headlining tour throughout Europe due to illness: "We are deeply saddened to announce that because of serious illness we have to cancel the remaining dates on our European Tour. Our hearts are broken. Nothing gives us more joy than playing, and we were looking forward to the places we would go, shows we would play, and people we would meet.
