2014 marks the 10th anniversary of the Austrian Nova Rock festival, an annual event that saw some of the greatest names of the scene performing on its previous nine iterations. For the jubilee tenth editions organizers are preparing definitely a special event, with headliners Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden and The Prodigy. The event takes place in the Nickeldorf’s Pannonia Fields II from June 13 to June 15. The line-up for the upcoming edition is not final, organizers say that there will be more acts added with the event getting closer. You can purchase the tickets at the promo prices starting from €126, but be quick – this offer is time limited. Stay tuned for more news in the coming months.

Amoral have revealed the cover artwork and tracklist of their new album "Fallen Leaves & Dead Sparrows", set for release on March 31st. The Finnish release date is February 14th, and the album will then also be available digitally for the rest of the world. The album will be available on CD, double vinyl and digital download. Aki Siltala, the artist behind the covers of previous Amoral albums "Decrowning" and "Reptile Ride" is again responsible for the cover artwork.

San Francisco Bay Area thrash veterans DEATH ANGEL, have released a brand new video clip for the track ‘Left For Dead’ at www.deathangel.us! The song is taken from the band’s recently released seventh studio album 'The Dream Calls For Blood', and comes on the verge of their upcoming tour with CHILDREN OF BODOM. After recently announcing to continue their very successful 'Circle' - World Tour, Finish Metal veterans AMORPHIS have just revealed their on the road support for the European leg. Faroese Doom Metal band HAMFERƉ has been confirmed as the sole support AMORPHIS whose 'Circle' - World Tour will continue in mid-March 2014. Commented HAMFERƉ guitarist Theodor Kapnas: “We're really looking forward to hitting the road again! The clear highlight of our last European tour was opening for AMORPHIS in Hamburg, which was an incredible experience for us. So we're delighted that we've been given the opportunity to open for AMORPHIS for an entire tour. Hope to see lots of people at the shows”.

With the release of its debut single ‘A Lifetime of Adventure’ coming up on February 07, 2014, NIGHTWISH mastermind TUOMAS HOLOPAINEN has now revealed the official music video on the track. The video was directed by Ville Lipiäinen and includes Mika Jussila's photos of Tuomas Holopainen and Don Rosa in the recording studio. You can watch it here. Commented TUOMAS: “The director, Ville Lipiäinen, and me went through some options of how to approach the video and soon agreed to shoot a sort of `making of` - clip of the song. The idea of someone dressing up as Scrooge McDuck, and then filming him digging gold and riding an emu on an Australian desert felt just a tad corny.
