After the two incredible shows in July in Leipzig, APOCALPTICA now proudly present the next "Wagner Reloaded - Apocalyptica meets Wagner" show date on the 27th of September in Leipzig. You can check out the previous show on the videostream of the german TV station MDR here. Watch the trailer here. 13 tracks of the exceptional premiere will be released on November 15, 2013 as an official live recording with the MDR Symphony Orchestra on CD and vinyl. This will be Apocalyptica's first ever live album! As of now, you can EXCLUSIVELY pre-order the autographed album or an edition with individual dedication on PledgeMusic. The exciting, atmospheric cover artwork has only just been finalized.

Described by Sweden's national tabloid Expressen as "a perfect union of Front 242 and the B-52's," Swedish electronic punk group Cat Rapes Dog is back with their first album since 1999. The new album, dubbed Life Was Sweet, is the seventh Cat Rapes Dog studio release and first on label Artoffact. The band gets right to the point and stays true to their punk rock roots, rarely pausing and skipping all filler. The album clocks in at a "fits on vinyl" 35 minutes, but in this short space Cat Rapes Dog will tell you to go out and vote, give you a lesson in religion, and baffle you with a sense of humour all their own. Manic electronic synth lines meet over-the-top male and female vocals on nine tracks of pure DIY weird.

Talking about Synth Pop / Electro Pop bands, you cannot leave the German band DE/VISON unmentioned as they are a kind of old stager. In 1988, they started as a quartet but since 2000 it is Steffen Keth and Thomas Adam who continued with DE/VISION. And they are doing it with great success. Thus they can now, in 2013, look back on a musical history of 25 years.
