Brighton folk-rockers Levellers are releasing a five track anti-war single in May featuring a new recording, with special guests, of ‘The Recruiting Sergeant’. The original version, which is an anti-war song not an anti soldier song, features on their 10th studio album ‘Static on the Airwaves’ which was released to critical acclaim in 2012. The new recording of ‘The Recruiting Sergeant’ features traditional English folk singers The Copper Family, plus Shona Kipling and Dan Walsh and was mixed by Matt Lawrence (Mumford & Sons, Grinderman, Emile Sande, Bat For Lashes). There will also be a brand new video to accompany the new release directed and produced by Rich Mulryne. The band have produced videos for every track so far on their new album and this new one completes the project.

Following glowing coverage across the globe, Wampire gear up to the release of their debut album "Curiosity" (out May 13th on Polyvinyl Records) with the announcement of their first UK and European dates and with a further taster from their record, the laid-back pop suss of "Trains". As well as a headlining show at London's Shacklewell Arms, their tour will also take them to dates in Paris and Amsterdam before returning to the US. This is how you can join the treasure hunt: In the booklet of the limited edition digipak and the iTunes download of the new ATROCITY "Okkult" album is a hidden numerical code. The numbers form a letter code, which is the title of the hidden song. Once you have deciphered the title, you can enter it and log in on the ATROCITY website and find more details about the treasure in the form of a 24 Karat golden CD including the song. Then the quest begins! "This treasure hunt will be great fun for music fans. In the age of illegal downloads this should show the value of music , too" says Alex.
