The creators of “DmC Devil May Cry”, one of the most popular computer game series, could hardly have chosen a more fitting partner to write the sound track than charismatic singer/producer/songwriter Andy LaPlegua and his band Combichrist. Personified evil and the dark side of human existence and society have always been central themes in the group’s oeuvre, making them the perfect match for a game that focuses on the origin story of the series protagonist, human-demon-half breed Dante, fighting evil by any means necessary. Fitting the not exactly squeamish nature of the game itself, with the hero not hesitating to make use of his demonic powers and diverse weaponry to reach his goal, Combichrist are unleashing a massive sonic onslaught of aggressive, electronic walls of sound, spiced up with hefty Metalcore elements that complement the game's battle scenes perfectly.

Hurts
The most elegant synth pop duo HURTS is well known for its mixture of Pop, New Wave, 80ies and artists like JOY DIVISION, DEPECHE MODE or PET SHOP BOYS. With their album ‘Happiness’, which was released in 2010, they earned much popularity and won prices like a Bambi, an Echo and a MTV Award. The LP spawned the hit singles ‘Better Than Love’, ‘Wonderful Life’, ‘Stay’ and ‘Sunday’. Sony announced that Theo Hutchcraft & Adam Anders are back with a new album in march 2013 and with a tour, too. There are no details known yet, but it will be depressive and hard dance music. Most likely they will have a advanced single. HURTS started to film their new music video for a new song called ‘The Road’ (?) on 1st December 2012 in London. It will be a slow motion video with some models from the English fetish, burlesque and bondage scene. Sounds hot. We can look forward to.

Swedish/American supergroup W.E.T. to release their anticipated sophomore album “Rise Up” in February on Frontiers
Frontiers Records is excited to announce the release of W.E.T. new studio album “Rise Up” on February 22nd in Europe and February 26th in North America. “Learn to Live Again” sample can be heard following this link: http://youtu.be/2LhTMPgZ-44. The W.E.T. debut album in 2009 was one of the rare occasions when a band, created by the vision of a record label president, managed to create such a wave of enthusiasm and interest from fans and the media alike. Not only did it go beyond the band’s own expectations, but it pushed the musicians themselves to raise their own game, when in the beginning they thought "no one would care except maybe the die-hard fans from the three bands the name W.E.T. came from".
