So after the last FILTER offering was literally a crushing experience, the guys around Richard Patrick are back with a new collection of tracks on 'The Sun Comes Out Tonight'. Already the band’s first release, ‘Short Bus’ in 1995, was anything else than ordinary with its edgy production, samples, fat bass lines and heavy guitar riffs, virtuoso programmed drum computers and last but not least the unmistakable voice of Richard Patrick as trademark.
Patrick is without any doubt FILTER’s magnetic centre, the musical middle of the band. The new album offers explosive tracks with Patrick’s typical rousing chant and Radtke’s backing vocals, catchy refrains, hypnotising synthesizers, fierce guitars, angry riffs and blast beats, caustic lyrics and the triumphal re-birth of the drum computer. All good conditions for and intense live show. Be part of one of the dates in Summer!
