Just in time for their first acoustic shows on 23rd and 24th November 2012 at the TheARTer Galerie in Berlin, EDEN WEINT IM GRAB will release their first unplugged album wearing the title “Nachtidyll – Ein akustisches Zwischenspiel”. Accompanied with chamber music, it is an acoustic journey through the EWIG history – poetic, melancholic, romantic, morbid and dark as the night. The album contains well-known older songs in new, reduced versions, sounding more pure and intimate than the originals. Furthermore, there are two band-new acoustic songs, ‘Kali Yuga’ and ‘Nächtliche Melancholie’, as well as a cover version of the DAS ICH classic ‘Kindgott’. As guest, EWIG welcomed violin player Aline Deinert (Neun Welten, Haggard, Empyrium, Die Kammer) and cellist Markus Freitag (Before I Forget). More info: www.edenweintimgrab.de

The new group SCHLAFES BRUDER (Ex- E NOMINE Fritz Graner/ Kris Weller) released its first single, ‘Absolution’, on 9th November 2012. It comes with full, rich sound going directly into your blood. The music is monumental, atmospheric and of cinematic deep. With German lyrics, Latin chorals and unfolded melodies the style reminds of successful project E-NOMINE. While with E-NOMINE the sound was based on electronics soundscapes, Weller and Graner now opened a new chapter, no sequel but a development! Hard guitars and occult chant are marking the new album, dealing with the history of crusaders. The single ‘Absolution’ gives a foretaste of the upcoming album. The regular album edition of the Chrysalide album "Do not Be Scared - It's About Life" is now available at all retailers, wholesalers and of course also at all digital download stores! The French trio Chrysalide is an exception in the industrial genre, as they manage to combine elements of Hiphop and Dubstep with harsh and noisy industrial music and vocals. Although leaning onto pioneers like Skinny Puppy or Velvet Acid Christ, Chrysalide manage to create a unique and believable wall of aggression on their record. Coma Online says "`Don’t Be Scared, It’s About Life´ is the most unique and complex album I’ve heard all year. In fact, Chrysalide may be the next wave of genius for music everywhere."
