Killswitch Engage are pleased to announce that they have filled the singer vacancy in the band and they have done so with a familiar face: original vocalist Jesse Leach. Leach sang on the band's first self-titled album, which came out in 2000, and on their landmark 2002 Roadrunner debut Alive or Just Breathing. He left the band in 2002, but his work on Alive or Just Breathing has always been revered by diehard, longtime KsE fans. Things have come full circle a decade later, and Leach and the band couldn't be more pleased about this reunion.

SLASH, the iconic, Grammy-winning rock guitarist and songwriter--is currently in a Los Angeles studio putting the finishing touches on his second solo album. The as-yet-untitled disc is due out May 22 in the USA on SLASH’s own label Dik Hayd International.
In the UK, the album will be released on May 21 in exclusive Classic Rock Fan Pack form – providing a unique collectable package containing the studio album with bonus tracks alongside a specially created magazine with unseen behind-the-scenes content put together by Classic Rock. The Fan Pack format will also come with free gifts including a pin badge & artwork poster and will be available to buy via more than 2000 retail outlets on newsstands nationally as well as the traditional high street and online music retailers. Roadrunner Records will simultaneously release the record digitally. The standard physical release of the Slash album will follow through Roadrunner Records on June 18 2012.

On February 17th you will discover a whole new side of Hungary´s neo-thrashers EKTOMORF: with their album ”The Acoustic” they release a very special one that shouldn´t be missed. As a first teaser, the band made the track “I’m In Hate” available for http://listn.to/uAcYrx free download (until Sunday). Meanwhile the band is putting finishing touch on their upcoming new video clip, that will be released next week.
