Limp Bizkit
It’s been a long time Gentlemen. A time to righteously ask oneself if the spirit that took the band in its original form back on stage in 2009 was gone again already! Seems like we can now answer the question with a big no. The band, inventing the “New Rock” genre has a new album in the pipeline, holding the promising title ‘Gold Cobra’ which is slated for a release in this year’s June. Even another album seems to have been completed already.

Guitarist Jan Åkesson and vocalist Peter Grundström met in August 1984 at a gig. Jan played in a band called Ravage and Peter was the vocalist of the band Whitelight. Soon Jan joined Whitelight. In 1987 Jan and Whitelight parted ways and Jan focused on playing more guitar-oriented hard rock. Peter continued as a member of Whitelight but Jan wasn't replaced. Soon Whitelight changed their name to Kee Avenue. In 1994 Jan established his own studio and retired from playing live shows. Kee Avenue split up when several band members left the band in 1991. Peter continued writing songs and played in cover bands. When Jan and Peter met again, STONELAKE was born. The band has already released four albums and they continue building a fan base all over the world. Their fifth album "Marching On Timeless Tales" is going to be released on July 1, 2011!

On its second outing “Bittersüß” (= bittersweet), Mina Harker effectively merges the lively feel inherent to German Alternative Rock with powerfully catchy electronic Pop music and a carefully added dark note. The album sports a much more mature sound than the singer’s debut, with arrangements that have been watered down to their very essence for maximum impact. Lyrics are highly emotional, often very direct and, at times, provocative, destined to do more than just scratch the surface. On “Bittersüß”, Mina Harker dances a stirring high wire act, balancing the scales between teenage “Sturm & Drang” and the tackling of big feelings. Versatile vocalist Mina plays out her full spectrum of emotions, alternating between childlike and innocent, steamily lascivious and powerfully raw, making “Bittersüß” a hit-laden summer storm that is bound to go under your skin. The first edition of the album is released as a double CD including a bonus disc with exclusive songs, remixes and alternative versions. The world is bittersweet.
