Just recently, TRANSIT POETRY have released their fourth long player ‘Pedestrians In The Sky’, garnering very favourable reviews, and bringing the elements cycle to an end. Not having been on stage for 2.5 years, the band on 25th March will step into the spotlights again on the official release party for ‘Pedestrians In The Sky’, taking place at K17 in Berlin. They’ll be supported by Herzfeind, Traumtaenzer and Leichenwetter. MIRRORS from Brighton are just as much influenced by XTC, PiL and Joy Division as they are by Basic Channel, Kraftwerk, Wolfgang Voigt und Tangerine Dream and as a band are defined by a something like a “24/7” aesthetic. “We like to think of someone’s live as their art”, explains James. “You are what you’re doing.” The four-piece, who loves to use old synthesizers regardless of their idiosyncrasies, will be releasing their debut album ‘Lights And Offerings’ on 18th March and as a foretaste the single ‘Into The Heart’ will be released this Friday. Dutch WITHIN TEMPTATION have been called one of the most charismatic bands, originating from the metal scene already. The brand new album ‘The Unforgiving’, sees the band returning musically, and also marks the beginning of a new chapter in terms of style and use of symbols. ‘The Unforgiving’ isn’t merely an album, but also a comic and a series of long format video clips, altogether being part of a dark and compelling story about life, love, revenge and regret. Each of the 12 songs is focusing on the perspective and experiences of one of the story’s main characters.

Following the re-launch of the festival homepage, there are two new additions to announce with BURN and COMBICHRIST. Münster-based BURN will release their album ‘The Truth’ on 11th March 2011 and seem to have found their musical way finally. The snippets on their Myspace profile raise the curiosity. COMBICHRIST are in the final stages of their tour. Their new album ‘Making Monsters’ should be making the waiting time for the festival more bearable. The current line-up now reads as follows:

For over 10 years, Sebastian Müller is writing his own songs on the acoustic guitar, enriching them with his vocals. To give the child a name he chose CAPTAIN’S DIARY. His new album ‘Niemals Jedem Recht’ will be released on 15th April 2011. Ever since 2004, he’s also touring the stages of Europe and he can now look back on 200 shows and countless tours of Germany, Austria, France, Czech Republic and the Netherlands.
