Der W
DER W is the pseudonym of the music producer, bassist and singer Stephan Weidner, who probably might be known to most still as the head of German Hard-Rock band BÖHSE ONKELZ. The band was dissolved in 2005. Since 2008, Stephan Weidner is on the move solo as DER W and published his first solo album ‘Schneller, höher, Weidner' which reached even place 2 in the German charts.
His current album ‘Autonomie!’ appeared in December 2010. After he went on an extensive tour through Germany already in spring / summer 2011, he'll now start the ‘AUTOURNOMIE II' tour in December. On 18th of December 2011 we can experience him also at the Kesselhaus in Munich.
