Wir sind Helden
Following the release of their album ‘Soundso’ in 2007, German WIR SIND HELDEN decided to step back from the spotlights for a while to explore the paths of their real lives and al the highs and lows they’ve got to offer to every single one. But passionate musicians like that can’t go without their art for too long and sometime in 2010 the band entered the studio again to record what was supposed to become ‘’Bring mich zurück nach Hause’, the album that was eventually released in summer of the same year and hit the album charts on #1.

Diorama
DIORAMA’s album most recent album ‘Cubed’ came like a bombshell when it was released back in early 2010. The band managed to give their new album a different and distinctive sound as they did on previous releases, while a signature sound still remains recognizable. Following the release of the album, the band did several shows across Germany and beyond, showcasing what is their way of performing which is in a profound way different from what other bands tend to deliver.

B-Movie
The history of B-MOVIE started back at the beginning of the 1980s. After signing their record deal, the first single release 'Remembrance Day' peaked at #66 in British charts! 'Nowhere Girl' then in 1982 even reached the top 10 in many countries across Europe. Sadly, sometime after the release of their first album 'Forever Running', the band broke-up with each one pursuing their musical endeavours separately.

Anna F.
Austrian musician ANNA F. attracted first attention in Austria with her song ‘Time Stands Still’ also featured in a commercial. She broke the national boundaries and became known to a much bigger audience when playing as support of LANNY KRAVITZ on his European tour in 2009.

Festival of Darkness 2011: Combichrist, Diorama, Frozen Plasma, Mortiis, Blitzmaschine, Lahannya
In early 2010 with the debut of the Festival of Darkness going down at Meier Music Hall in Braunschweig, the foundation stone for a successful event had been laid with positive reviews from everywhere. For its second year goes the motto: Bigger and better. For the 2011 issue, the festival’s been expanded to cover 2 days with all in all 12 bands and something for every taste.
On Friday, the festival will be headlined by COMBICHRIST for one of a very small list of concerts in Germany for 2011, and you can be sure it’s going to be one hell of a party.
