On 5th February, the WOD festival is going to take place in Bielefeld to bring you an evening of finest music. The headlining slot of the evening is taken by QNTAL and their high level blend of medieval and modernity, followed by Sonja Kraushofer's PERSEPHONE. A little bit of literal classical Goth comes in with BACIO DI TOSCA and an extraordinary performance is awaiting you with VIOLET TRIBE. We've, however, kept the best thing for the end. The Shock Project are new, are exciting, are fresh. And all this, although the individual members are actually all old hands in the music business and have worked many years with various bands (f.e. Curious). These times have left their mark, but time has come to break new grounds.
The Shock project is mature, adult music, which moves in the field of good old gothic rock, melodic gloomy Wave, Indie and emotional Progressive Alternative. Driving drums and a dominant bass are the backbone for shimmering guitars and spherical keyboards. Crowned by melodic, emotional vocals.

If you're going to have a few after the last band has left the stage but you'd still like to catch a few hours of comfortable sleep, then GRASPOP METAL TOWN is definitely the ticket! GRASPOP METAL TOWN (GMT) is located at just 1km from the festival arena and is a veritable open air hotel with its proper sanitary facilities, breakfast tent, bar and reception desk. GMT is organised separately from the actual festival. You can either spend the night in a festihut or you can book a pitch for your motorhome, caravan or tent.

It is with pride and pleasure that we announce that the first part of Helrunar's "Sól" double album, "Sól I – Der Dorn im Nebel," has entered the German album charts at a sensational No. 54! Not only is this Helrunar's first chart position, it is also the highest position ever reached by a Prophecy release. Together with Skald Draugir and Alsvartr, we are happy about this success and the fact that Pagan Metal with depth can prove to be so popular. Of course, both "Sól" albums can still be purchased in record shops or directly via Prophecy's online shop. The artbook edition of "Sól" is completely out of stock by now.
